LED Flames for Special Effects

When the LED flame lights flicker in different patterns, you can create more dynamic flame effects. You can achieve this with three LED lights and our three-channel flicker effects controller. Three flame spectrum LED lights flickering in different patterns or sequences provide more pronounced shadows. The shadows from the cast light give an overall more realistic appearance with the visual sense of a moving flame.

Three Channel Flame Controller

The TCF (Three-Channel Flame) controllers three output channels, each flicker with different patterns. You can select from six pattern modes with a different flicker pattern sequence. The controller also has ten flicker speed steps. You can use a slow mode to simulate burning embers or logs or a fast flicker for a more rapid burning fire look. With each light having its own flicker pattern, the effect of dynamic flame movement can be achieved.

4 Pin RGB connectors for the controller

The controller uses a standard 4-pin connector found on many RGB lighting strips.  Other standard and readily available RGB lighting cable accessories, such as 4-pin RGB Extension Cables often used with LED Strips, can also be used.

The industry-standard 4-pin RGB connectors can become disconnected with movement. If you use the controller for a prop that may be moved, such as with a custom, the best solution is to wrap the connector to the controller area with electrical gaffer tape to keep it together.

The TCF controllers retain the last setting when the power is removed and restored.
