Three Channel LED Flame Light Controller
This kit includes two TCF (Three Channel Flame) controllers and two cable assemblies, each with a 4-pin end that mates to the controller and three DC barrel connector outputs. The DC barrel connectors are 2.1mm x 5.5mm in size.
The TCF controllers stand out with their unique features. They provide lights to simulate the appearance of burning embers or logs and a fast flicker for a more intense fire effect. Their applications include theatrical stage fireplace props, campfire props, replica gas lamps, lanterns, torch props, escape room designs, themed entertainment, and special effects lighting. You can use these 3 output controllers with our 3 pack EEL 12 Volt DC special effects lights.
This kit consists of a Three Channel Flame controller, and a mating 4-Pin to 3-Way DC barrel connector cable harness.
When assembling, be sure to align the arrow marks on the cable 4-pin connector with the triangle mark on the Flame Controller label.
Three outputs that each have a different flame flicker pattern, 6 different modes and 10 flicker speed steps.
The controller creates flickering lights at different patterns for flame movement effect in fire props.
Input voltage 9 - 12 volts DC for LED Lighting Systems, 1.5 amp Max. at 9-12 volts. Output 18 watts Max. total lighting load, 6 Watts Max. per output.
The outputs are DC barrel connectors with center positive +V polarity, (lights are not included)
Controllers Button Functions:
The Flame Mode button provides six dynamic effects and one static dimming mode
The Speed (On/Off) button provides ten speed levels for dynamic modes. In the static dimming mode this button provides dimming in 10 steps, 10% - 95% Ref. This button is also used to turn the unit off when it is held longer than 3 seconds.
The DIM button is used to set the control to static dimming mode while in any dynamic mode. Pressing the mode button starts the dynamic mode again.
Notes:
1) Disconnect batteries when not in use to preserve battery life as there is a small idle current drawn from the battery. The control retains the last settings when power to the unit is cycled On and Off.
2) External power supplies must be 9- or 12-volts DC, with regulated voltage output. The power connector needs to be compatible with the 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC barrel connector with a positive center connection.
3) The 4-pin connector cable to the controller’s mating area can be wrapped with electrical or gaffers tape to secure the cable to the controller.
